a day in the life

Date night

Tonight Bj and I got to go on a very rare date night. Here's what we did.

First we went to Underhill's Games. 
For those of you in the know (and I am thinking that is exactly one person who reads this blog, Missy) this is where "the boys" go to get their games. Not just Scrabble or Monopoly, but award winning games that come mostly from Europe. This is generally our form of in home entertainment these days. He just wanted to show it off and show me how undorky it is.

Next we went to dinner at Macaroni Grill We just happened to have some giftcards which we needed to use while still in town and oh I am glad we did. Not only did we have a really good dinner, we also got some really good news from a friend :)

Finally we went to Archiver's which I neglected to take a picture of as we were running out of time and I jumped out of the car and ran in. Not nearly enough time in my 15 minute trip, and I felt like a crazy person who couldn't figure out where to go first, but I did get some goodies. Sadly they were all sold out of the Cosmo Cricket Jolly Holly Christmas paper...oh sadness, but I did get the paper I needed for my 12 days album. Here are my results. I got the chipboard in hopes that I can find the Cosmo Cricket still in stock somewhere. We got home and the fun continued. Check out 365 to see what we did next!

Girls Weekend Extravaganza

Lily and I went to visit the four Dillow girls (and Uncle Matt) this weekend. A very fun and much needed girls weekend. We played, we laughed, we read stories, we ate ice cream, we got some much needed outside time, and we just hung out.
These two were thick as thieves. Finally.

This one was sick, and really not a baby anymore. It's going to take a while before I stop calling her Baby B. And this one is about to lose her second (and third) tooth. How in the world is she so grown up?  I'm so glad I got some one on one time with this one. My poor girl who face planted and ended up with a very bad rug burn on her poor nose. But I do have hopes for a softball loving tomboy just like her Mama.

Game night

Game night was once again so. much. fun. Our new neighbors joined us tonight and it just added to the fun and hilarity. And really the trip over is so easy. Yes, it is great having game night with those who live just one or two doors down. I am looking forward to continuing this tradition. I am also hoping that a certain someone goes into labor right NOW so I can see her before we leave. Otherwise, Ohio here we come!!!
