At first I was a little iffy about our costume choice this year-after all Lillian is the only kid who has actually READ any Harry Potter...but she begged and begged so HP it was. Plus Charlie was OVER THE MOON when he found out he was going to get his hair dyed.
I present Hermione.
Please note that yes...I made their robes. And no. I did not hem the sleeves. The cheaper fabric was a little too short for Lillian's arm span so...WHATEVER. I MADE THEIR ROBES. Focus on that ;)
Ron...
I swear Charlie is going to be an actor. He gets SO into character when he dresses up. Sadly on Friday night he had a terribly high fever and just coughed all night. So instead of trick or treating, we passed out germs...I mean candy. He was so very excited to do this. No really. He told me many times that he wants to only go trick or treating every other year so he can pass out candy. He kept saying to everyone "I give doubles! Wait! You forgot your double!" He loved seeing all the costumes and anytime he started getting tired, the SECOND a trick or treater started walking up, he JUMPED up and raced to the door. He is such a cool kid.
And Harry...
AKA the CUTEST HARRY POTTER EVER. He did go trick or treating for a bit, but petered out pretty quickly, had a few pieces of candy, then preceeded to BOUNCE OFF THE WALLS for the rest of the night. This kid has personality, is so so funny, and yes, totally knows it. And now thank goodness Monday morning we will finally get his haircut. #mychildisatinker
Happy Halloween from Hogwarts :)
Now what are they going to be next year?
