Today Bj's Father's Day wish was to set off a bottle rocket (I believe that is what they are called) just as he had done 25 years before. It was an interesting adventure-perhaps the rocket/parachute will be found one day, but it wasn't located by us so it was a very short adventure. But we did get some new photos along the way...
And then there is this kid, who OHMYGOODNESSGRACIOUS needs a haircut but as it is practically torture for him I tend to wait quite a while. It is ok though, he is still the cutest thing EVER. *doublesigh*
And here is where it got interesting. And further proof why I can never be a wildlife photographer...Please read about why I originally decided I could not be a wildlife photographer here.
Blurry as I totally jumped thinking the large bird with the dead thing was coming towards ME for a second.
It then purched itself up on the fence, protecting its prey, one of the thousands of squirrels in our neighborhood.
Gross? Yes. Super stinking cool? Totally. :)
And with that, the weirdest Father's Day Post ever!
