Try as I might whenever I pull out the camera Lily generally flashes this odd fakey smile. Even the smile from a few days ago was not the real, unadulterated, laughing, joyous Lily smile.
I will get there. It is my new quest.

Missy had a time where Aubrey would give fake smiles, especially school pictures. So, Missy asked if she would just save those smiles for when mommy was behind the lens - Aubrey said she just couldn't do that - she must have left her real smile over at Jen's house - maybe she should call over there and check to see if Michaela was trying out.
Your children are just beautiful. Hope you, BJ and crew are doing well in this new year. N

I was going to tell you Aubs did the same thing but my mama beat me to it. I wish I could tell you it was a quick phase but this year's school picture was only slightly better than last year.
Even with the fake smiles she is still a cutie pie.
