Gasp! Ack! Ohmygoodnessgracious!
I am FINALLY up to date on my 365! Can you believe it?
Oh wait, haven't taken my picture from today...

Oh wait, haven't taken my picture from today...
Today Charlie went to the doctor and to my surprise and delight is doing absolutely awesome. Yes he is still little at only 22 pounds 1 ounce, but he jumped from the 7th percentile to the 15-20th percentile. This is big as not that long ago he wasn't even on the charts. Then there is his height. This kid used to be in the 10th percentile for height but now he is a whopping 32 inches long and is now in the 75 percentile. Tall and skinny and happy and healthy. I couldn't be happier. Oh and add to the fact that he didn't make a peep when he got his shots today (gave me an extremely dirty look) which is great as the Princess of my- 22-pound-brother-brushed-me-when-he-walked-by-and-I-must-cry-about-it's four year check up is coming up soon. And yes, this Princess will soon have her own Disney movie ;) Now that you sat through all the numbers mumbo jumbo for my blog baby book, now for some cuteness.
Really. Can you handle the cuteness???
We went to the zoo today and it was just lovely. Not too hot, the rain held off and I saw something I have NEVER seen before. Trust me there are MANY more pictures of this, but here are two of the best.
Bears! Not sleeping, but FIGHTING. This went on for about ten minutes or so and someone said they were doing this for about 15 minutes before that! Then the fight ended.
And losing bear started running. Fast.
Towards me.
At full speed. At this point I dropped my camera and turned to hurdle over my children (leaving them behind) and make a run for it. Then I realized that there was actually some glass in between us, it would be pretty bad if I left my children behind and realized that making the Willis startle noise in the wild would probably forever prevent me from becoming a wildlife photographer in Alaska.
1. I am slowly but surely updating my 365 album. Wouldn't it be great if Typepad wasn't having major issues and you could actually see it in the order the pictures were taken. Or at all. Boo.
2. Lily is now the proud owner of her Daddy's old ipod Nano. LUCKY GIRL. And lucky Mama as Lily is listening to The Muppet Show right now. AND I AM NOT! And don't worry, I locked the volume so it won't be too loud for her.
3. I am so terribly behind on EVERYTHING right now.
4. Charlie's favorite book right now is Brown Bear Brown Bear. I think I have read it aproximately 1000 in the past three days. He is surprisingly so into books. For a kid who never sits still, he will sit with me and read 10 books (or more) at a time. Lily never did that at this age. Never.
5. I take that back. I don't have to listen to The Muppet Show, I have to listen to LILY singing The Muppet Show. Ha.
6.We had a busy, busy day today complete with a massive playdate, long naps, haircuts, dinner and quick Target trip. I wore us out.
7. Have you heard the Ben Folds has an A Capella album by Universities around the country? Ohio State is featured and may actually get me to like "Brick" again. I heart Ben Folds.
8. Charlie's hair is especially cute. And I swear, sometime this week you WILL see some pictures.
9. I am going to be so insanely busy for the next month starting Thursday. I need to take a deep breath.
10. We went to see UP! the other day. Besides the fact that it was WAY TOO LOUD and Lily watched the ENTIRE movie with her fingers in her ears, it was wonderful. And quite possibly the saddest movie I have ever seen. But really good. I would recommend as long as your name doesn't start with and E and end in lizabeth. I can't go into details without leaking plot. You will just have to trust me on this one.
1. Happy 6.12 day!
2. It hasn't exactly been super happy around here.
3. Remember how Bj pulled a muscle in his back? Well he is much better now.
4. But then Lily got strep.
5. And then Charlie got croup.
6. And now he has an ear infection.
7. And I may or may not have mono, but apparently I live in the vortex of corn fields where test results for mono take an entire week to arrive. All I know is I have never had such a bad sore throat in my entire life. I didn't even have a Dr Pepper yesterday. In hearing that, Cassie wanted me to go to the hospital, Bj said "Oh God!" and Bobby thinks I should call 911.
8. But my Mama is here to take care of me.
9. And although I have not edited a single picture for 365 since May 23, it isn't dead and will return as soon as I feel better. Note the two pictures I actually did edit are over in 365...
10. Oh and happy day, I am one of the winners for the I ♥ Faces Contest. I will soon be able to add "Published!" and "Award Winning photographer!" to my resume'.
11. Lily has also been taking very good care of me-lots of head rubbing and telling me that she loves me and she misses me.
12. And finally? I have the best neighbor...BEST NEIGHBOR ever. Lily has fed ducks, picked strawberries, and gone to Target this week. What more could a girl want?
And that's all I have to say about that.
